This year the HCSNet (The ARC Network in Human Communication Science) was held at the University of NSW, Sydney from 30th November 2009 to 6th December 2009. I attended Summer School Program from 30th November to 1st December 2009. On the evening of 30th November, I presented my PhD research proposal as a poster to Keynote speakers and other student colleagues. There were 15 of us presenting either the research proposal without research result or with findings. I like the nature of the program with presenter presenting and enjoying the evening wine and snacks at the university Pavilion.  It was great evening as I met researchers and scholars from different part of the World. Professor Mark Sanderson from the University of Sheffield was one of them. He presented a keynote on “An introduction to the Inner Workings of Information Retrieval Systems” earlier on the day which I attended. I requested him to have a look on my poster and provide a feedback. My research is more related to the work of Professor Nigel Ford from the University of Sheffield. Mark told me that he can talk with Nigel Ford to have a look on my proposal and the paper.
