Job Description

  • Provide qualitative education in the field of IT to the undergraduate students
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback on students’ learning and achievement
  • Design and develop teaching and learning materials for the college
  • Help and manage college’s LAN(local area network)
  • Provide computer services such as software and hardware installations in Labs and faculty computers, and troubleshooting

    This job, built on my previous teaching and helpdesk skills, prepared me for a better delivery in teaching and research capacity building. It was during this period that I had an opportunity to attend research workshops, oversea academic conferences, and meet scholars around the world.

  • Assist integrated help service staff to provide a qualitative help services
  • Establish and strengthen relationships between the students and the university
  • Help students with computer troubleshooting
  • Orient Students with QUT environment

    This job improved my communication and troubleshooting skills. I have learned how to work in a team, thus increased my boundary of friendship to different nationalities and culture. I also learned a lot about QUT - its management, faculties, and policies. The most important thing about the work lies in its nature -helping students. At the end of my shift, I feel happy for being able to help the needy students, especially international students.
